While all closing documents must be signed in front of a Georgia attorney, we understand that you may be nervous about coming to our office to sign a large stack of papers. Staying home is the best way to practice safe social distancing, after all!
So if you’d rather not visit our office for closing, there are options.
- Name an attorney-in-fact! If and whenever possible, we’d love to conduct your closing with someone here in our office acting as your attorney-in-fact. Let us do the work for you and you can stay safely at home!
- Close virtually! In limited circumstances – and currently only through March 9th, 2021 – we may be able to handle your closing over Zoom. You can sign your closing documents from the comfort of your own home!
Everyone’s health and safety are a priority, and we will happily work with you to find a way to close comfortably.
Harlan Florence is an Atlanta-based boutique law firm that believes there’s a better way to handle your real estate closing. We’d love to work with you. Contact us today, and let’s see what we can do together.
